Warranty Policy
Warranty or not ?

Warranty is on material and parts only. If a part gets a defect within the time of warranty, this part will be replaced free of charge.

The warranty repair does not include the cost for travel time, transport and accommodation for a potential service technician.

The plotter may only be installed and put into commission by authorized Zund personal or Zund trained Service Technicians.


Zünd does not cover:

Defects that are caused by natural usage, defects caused by the user(user errors), non authorized/regulated maintenance work, Dirty/unclean environment that causes an electrical/mechanical default.

The warranty is voided when unauthorized wiring or modifications are done to the product.

The cost to replace the part through a technician like travel time, missed workload etc. is not included in the warranty.

EMS, DHL, UPS or other International Express shipments are not paid by Zünd.


Warranty Claims

When a warranty case is made there must be thorough written documentation of the problem.

This information is sent to Zünd Service Corporation or Zünd Plotter Service AG. When a warranty part is shipped back to Zund Service Corporation there must be a table serial no. and an error description.

Normal shipping cost in the time of warranty is paid by Zünd Service Corporation.


Warranty time span:

Zünd Systemtechnik AG(New Products)
The warranty time span of our products are 360 day, 180 days starting from the day of installation. If for some reason(when Zund is not the reason), the installation is prolonged after the plotter is delivered, the warranty is also prolonged but no more than 390 days after delivery.

Zünd Plotter Service AG(Spare parts)
On all spare parts are 6 months warranty from date of billing. When parts has been ordered but not used; in most cases more parts are ordered to cover all the error sources. The parts that are not used can be returned and credited. A $150,00 restocking fee applies. The reason: Every Motor, board, tool head etc. must be tested after we have received it. Also it has to rewrapped and returned into stock. This procedure is time consuming, but in the end we can guarantee that you are getting a functional spare part.
